Employment

• Sheriff, Callaway County Sheriff’s Office, September 1, 2000 – Present 
• Currently seated as the elected County Sheriff, serving as the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the County.
• Responsible for the administrative oversight of all operations; including administration, patrol, investigations, and jail operations. 
• Previously served as corrections officer, road deputy, road supervisor, investigations division commander, evidence custodian, neighborhood watch program coordinator, and media officer. 

Internship/Apprenticeship

• Callaway County Sheriff’s Office (Enforcement), 1998 - 1999
• Conducted two summer internships as coordinated by the University of Central Missouri.  Required to complete a minimum of 400 hours of intern work each summer.  Assisted with patrol and investigation assignments.  
• Callaway County Sheriff’s Office (Jail), 1997    
• Conducted semester apprenticeship as coordinated by the North Callaway High School.  Was required to complete a minimum of 10 hours a week in the county jail.  Assisted with basic jail duties.
